"Your young sister is so cute, Shin-chan!" Takao looked down at the little girl with green hair tied in a pigtail on her left side, holding Midorima's right hand with her left smaller ones. "Hello! I'm Kazu-nii, or onii-chan is fine! Teehee." His hawk eyes twinkled with adoration.
Midorima adjusted his glasses. "You're scaring her, Takao."
"Wah-"
"You're Takao?" The little girl asked meekly.
The said teen nodded approvingly, sending Midorima a 'take-that-Shin-chan' look. "Yes. Have you heard about be from your brother?" Takao grinned teasingly, irking the taller guy more.
"No." She frowned cutely. "But I always heard your name from onii-san."
"Eh? Is he talking bad things about me?" Takao leaned down and whispered, but loud enough for Midorima to hear.
The little girl shook her head surely. "I only heard your name once or twice when onii-san was alone in his room, or when he was taking too long at the bathroom." Something clicked inside her brain. "When I entered his room secretly one day to follow kitty-chan, onii-san's wall have lots of your pic-" Midorima clamped her mouth shut with his large taped hand.
"Quiet. If you don't, I'm going to shoot your kitty-chan on the basketball ring one day." The little girl blinked a few times to consider it for a moment then muttered an okay.
"Shin-chan, that's no way to scare your sister!" Takao scolded half-heartedly. The sudden turn of events amusing him to the fullest.
Midorima adjusted his eyeglasses -that never needed the adjusting- again. "We're leaving. Let's go." The two left the convenient store where they had encountered Takao unwillingly a few moments ago.
Takao watched with mirth as he noticed Midorima's ears tipped from pink to red.
"Silly, Shin-chan."
Takao sighed happily as the two turned to a corner, out of his sight.
Too bad, Takao wasn't as clueless as Midorima was.
Their ace was definitely going to receive dreadful teasing tomorrow.
