Cactus Wounds

"—Itai!"
Sakuno squirmed at the sight of blood slowly forming at the freshly punctured area of her finger. A cactus laid isolated upon the tiled floor, as the broken fragments of a copper colored pot had fled across the room due to the minor collision against the floor.
But Sakuno's only focus was the reddening shade of her finger, the thick ruby hued liquid sliding down the said body part and smothering her hand.
That darn cactus had really, really sharp (—irritating) pricks!
…And, well—it really hurt!
Unbeknownst to her, the soft swing of a kitchen door revealed brown messy locks and a perfect heart-shaped face of Fuji Syusuke, his piercing crystal blue eyes reflecting the picture of blood.
He strolled across the cluttered floor, ignoring the pointy shards crushing beneath his feet, making crunched like noises. Once he reached Sakuno, he swiveled her around with the swing of his arms.
"Sakuno," Fuji whispered, lifting her chin up and reverting her to face him. Sakuno's small mouth hung open, gawking in an erroneous like manner, eyes slightly widened by surprise.
"Syusuke-kun—I… the pot—the cactus pricked me and…—and I dropped it—I'm so sorry Syusuke—!"
Sakuno's apology was cut short due to the sudden contact of Fuji's pale, plump lips gracing her delicate wound, sending an electrifying jolt throughout her body, the small hairs hanging upon the back of her neck sprouted out dignified. When Fuji had leisurely drawn away, a single mischievous smirk had pinned itself against his lips.
Sakuno's eyes lay downcast, crimson situated upon her features. She continued to bite her lower lip, refusing to meet Fuji's gaze, ogling at her 'Fuji Tainted' mark with hazy eyes.
Unexpectedly, her wound didn't hurt anymore.
