Thinking about how Spiderman had saved her more times that she could count, she looked up at the night sky. Good things had happened, but this week was nothing but terrible for her. But still…she tried to think about things that she was grateful for.
A hero to save the city.
Her mother always being by her side.
Being able to support and help her family.
In reality, her father was never around so it was mostly her who tried to be strong and show backbone in times of need. But in reality, she never found her one true love. Everyone that she really thought was the one turned out to be a big joke. Trying to take her mind off of the sadness of relationship, she turned to finding a new job. The problem? When she accepted the new job it was nothing like she thought it would be. But above all, she tried to be positive and thankful. Because one day…maybe one day….her dreams would come true.
But more than anything, she wanted to feel positive and thankful for the things that she did have. This world had become so dangerous and scary that it almost made you not want to walk outside your door anymore. But above all, being thankful was what made her smile.
