"Two-Bit shut the fuck up!" I yelled at him. He was yapping at Steve for changing the channel off Mickey.
It was one in the afternoon, and I was bored as hell!
"Whatta you gonna do tonight, Dal?" Johnny questioned me.
"I don't know Johnny. Probably bum over at Buck's." I knew he wouldn't want to go over there, no one every does. Only me.
"Isn't there a party over there tonight?" Soda gasped out of the headlock Steve had him in.
"Yeah, I heard some people at work talking about it at work." Steve added.
I didn't understand why they all fucking care about parties at Buck's, none of them go! "Yeah there is." I said, before taking a long sip of my beer.
"That's one reason not to go to Buck's," Ponyboy mumbled going in to the kitchen. "Plus we wouldn't be able to go any how."
I don't see why Darry doesn't let Sodapop and Pony go to Buck's. It's not like people get killed there, damn it! Well except onceā¦. but that was last month so it don't matter no more.
" I'm bored." Two-Bit said dully.
"Hell, lets start a poker game!" Soda said, jumping off the floor.
"I'm in!" Steve chimed as Sodapop lunged for the deck of cards on the table.
"I'll play under one condition-" I started, moving toward the kitchen table.
"If we get to play for keeps!" Soda, Two-Bit, and Steve all said at the same time.
I guess they know me pretty well when it comes to poker, cause hell that's the only way I'll play.
"Shit" I cussed under my breath. I lost some of the cash I had with the bullshit cards I got. Left in the game now was me, Sodapop, and Johnny.
No one would guess it but Johnny is a real good poker player. Even if he don't talk that much all the time, he sure can rattle the hell outta you in a good game.
