Prologue:
in the beginning
Lite, a powerful being, the creator of all things beautiful and just. Brought into existence the world in which the magical preside.
And also the domain of the master of shadows, the puller of strings on all that is wrong, the thorn in Lites side.
The Great Darkness
According to ancient legend, Lite fought with The Great Darkness for possession of the world. For The Great Darkness could not create and would only take what it desired. It threatened to overtake the world through lies and greed and the emotions of men. Lite was almost overcome by the sins of its own creations. In its last attempt to save what is good, became human so as to merge with the four guardians, Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and become strong. Stronger then The Great Darkness.
The Great Darkness was cast into the fiery pits of Hell that was his prison, as well as his demons of sin.
But as time goes by its rage boils to the point of overflow and the demons seep out of there cage creeping out into the minds of men once again to aid there master in finishing what he started.
Because no matter how hard you try, evil will never cease to exist. And there are always those who would be seduced into summoning back The Great Darkness and thrusting the world into chaos once again.
