Dean edged forward on the ice towards the young girl. She shivered in the cold winter air. He was almost in reach of her hand when the ice began to crack. He froze then slowly walked forward. The ice shattered and he tried to jump for the ice that was still standing. He plummeted into the water. The ice cold water washed over him freezing him from head to toe. He used all his strength to try to surface again but his legs refused to kick. He knew he was gonna die. He relaxed knowing it was finally gonna come. His eyes slowly slipped shut. Strong hands grabbed his shoulders and hoisted him out of the water. He gasped in mouthfuls of air grateful for the oxygen. He slowly opened his eyes.
"S'mmy" he mumbled.
"I'm here…I'm here" The younger Winchester whispered back.
"C-c-cold" he stuttered. Sam pulled him into a hug. "What are you doing?" he said weakly trying to push Sam away.
"I'm warming you up now stay put"
