How Long Is Forever?
Winry Rockbell stood quietly out her shop as she watched the Elric brothers leave for their next journey. She sighed deeply. How long would it take for them to recover the stone & finally be happy? To her, it seems like it would never happen. She slowly stepped back inside her shop & cleaned up the mess after the repairs from Ed's automail arm & leg.
"Winry, I need you to go to Central & pick up some supplies, please!" ordered Pinako. "Yes auntie..." answered Winry, politely. She cleaned herself up, dressed up into her skirt & tank top.
"You need to be careful out their Winry! You know the streets of Central are after dark!"
She grabbed her coat & headed out the door.
"YES auntie….."
She entered the dark city. Nearly all the shops were filled with darkness, only a street light to shine the way & a few cars passing by.
The Supply Store must be closed by now, she thought. Yeah, maybe I should come back tomorrow….. Suddenly, she heard a few muffling noises. Oh my gosh……what was that! She turned around & saw no one. OKAAAAAAAY….this is getting creepy…..I should leave befo-
Before she could say another word…..a shadow figure passed by her. She stood there frozen. WHAT WAS THAT! She walked a little faster.
Something passed by her again. Winry started to walk faster, and then the walk turned into a run. She tried to run as fast as she can, but then something tripped her.
"Ugh….."She moaned. Winry got up slowly. The figure stopped right in front of her. It was Envy! The homunculi followed her throughout Central.
"W-Who are you and what do you want!" cried Winry, she got up slowly and backed away.
Envy laughed menacingly. He grabbed Winry quickly & sped off.
"LET ME GO!" screamed Winry. She tried to pull away but Envy was too strong.
They stopped at an old abandon warehouse. He left Winry in a large room & locked the door.
"NO! LET ME OUT!" yelled Winry, as she slammed her fist on the metal door. She started to sob & sat crouched in a corner. "Ed…..where are you……"
Envy held the key & threw it at Lust. "The girl won't be going anywhere…….soon pipsqueak will come….and surprise, surprise. He smiled evily.
"Perfect……" said Lust. "When he returns to Resembool, he'll soon find out…Do you have the note!"
"Of course, I'll get Gluttony to send it."
"Good."
