As the school day ended two familiar figures walked hand in hand out of the large building. "So how was your day Kagome?" Inuyasha asked looking at the beautiful young girl, "You should know you're in most of my classes remember" Kagome stated smacking him lightly upside the head. Though it was true he did'nt take the smack lightly.
"What was that for?!"
"For being dumb."
"You didn't have to smack me" He growled.
"Im sorry Miss Inuyasha, I didn't know you were so sensitive." She said laughing. Inuyasha stayed quiet for the rest of the walk to his house. Kagome thought that they should walk instead of drive because they don't spend as much time together as she wanted them to. "Maybe we can go to the mall later that would be fun" She thought to herself. As they approached his house Sesshomaru was just getting off of work, "Well hello you two, how was your day Kagome?" he said happily. "You seem happy, did something happen between you and Rin?" "Well, we finally decided that she would move into the house." " Oh my god im so happy now ill have someone to hang out with more often, it gets tiring hanging around guys all the time." She stated as she ran into the house. For once everything was going right with her life.
"Hey Kagome, where are you"
"The house feels like it's gotten smaller"
"That's probably because you've been here for a while" Inuyasha stated sarcastically. This made her think, she had been here for almost a year now. She finally found a place where she belonged, where she was wanted, where she knew she wouldn't be hurt. As she walked into the shower room she whispered "Thank you Inuyasha".
