Title: Why Catmint Was Banned

Summary: Fireheart is confronted with his leader and clan deputy acting weird. Is Spottedleaf's missing catmint stores connected?
Spottedleaf stared at the empty spot where she had stored the recently collected catmint. No scents gave her clues to who or what could have taken it. She sighed and decided she'll go out around sunhigh and gather more. Hopefully the new store of catmint will not disappear.
"Uh…Bluestar?" A hesitant Fireheart asked. He watched as the leader of ThunderClan chased her tail. Other warriors and some apprentices watched from a cautious distance. Tigerclaw, the deputy, was nowhere to be found so the auburn pelted cat had decided to step forward.
She stopped and sat before Fireheart panting. "Oh, hello, Fireheart."
Bluestar sounded normal enough, he thought. "What were you doing?"
A few warriors began muttering among themselves. "I was chasing this_" She growled as her tail came into her sight. "There it is!" Bluestar started chasing her tail again and Fireheart backed up. He perked up and looked toward the gorse tunnel when he scented ThunderClan's deputy. Tigerclaw padded into camp and headed toward them.
"Tigerclaw! Something's wrong with Bluestar!" He exclaimed. The deputy looked at him weirdly before he started to cry.
"Oh StarClan…" He sobbed. Fireheart stayed frozen, stunned and unable to say anything. "I'm so sorry, Fireheart. So, so sorry!"
The warrior twitched his ears feeling uneasy. "Um…It's okay. Really." What was wrong with Bluestar and Tigerclaw?
He shook his head. "No. I've been so terrible to you ever since you've become a Clan cat. You're an excellent warrior and I've been demeaning that."
Alarm filled Fireheart. "Spottedleaf! Something's wrong with Bluestar and Tigerclaw!"
The medicine cat appeared at the entrance of the medicine cat den and came over at once. "So that's where the catmint went."
Fireheart tilted his head to the side. "Catmint?"
"Yes. I had a store of catmint, but it disappeared." She went to Tigerclaw and took in his scent. "In small amounts it does as it should but large amounts make cats_"
"Crazy?"
"It would seem." She coaxed the deputy to go to the medicine den and, once sure he complied, went to Bluestar. "I'll make sure they return back to themselves. Tell everyone to go about their day as normal."
Spottedleaf disappeared with Bluestar and Fireheart sighed hoping she could. Seeing the two cats act like that was scary.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting," called out Bluestar.
Once all the cats were gathered she wrapped her tail around hr paws. "Due to recent events all cats are forbidden to take any herbs without Spottedleaf's approval."
Everyone started talking among himself or herself as Bluestar jumped down. She sat beside her deputy Tigerclaw who glared at anyone who looked his way.
"How soon do you think until they forget our episodes?" She mewed quietly.
He growled low in his throat. "Not soon enough."
