Ally had always loved fairytales. She could remember reading fairytales like Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty every night before bed with her mother. There was just something about the way they ended so perfectly, with the clichéd Happily Ever After. As she grew older fairytales began to loose their magic. Her parents got divorced and no knight in shining armor ever rescued her from anything. And yet… Recently, a sort of knight had found his way into Ally's story. Sure, his armor was scuffed up sneakers, faded skinny jeans, and ratty tee shirts but he was always there to protect his princess. Like the time Dallas had turned her down, and he'd possibly given up his dream to dance with her. He seemed to do things like that a lot, now that she'd thought about it. The Cheetah Beat Debacle and The Butterfly Songs Disaster were other times he'd risked his career just for her (and his career the second most important thing to him- after his friends). So yes, maybe Ally would get her fairytale after all. It certainly seemed that way when he'd kissed her. Not every girl needed expensive jewelry or magic carpet rides. She'd settle for a beach blonde knight who's kisses were like magic and loved music just as much as her.
