Brilliant gold and orange hues bled like fire in the east over the sea and beyond the city in the distance.

The first slither of the sun peeked over the skyline in a radiant, white form. Gradually it raised, a defined circle in a vibrant backdrop. The rivers were liquid gold and silver, leaving the mighty kingdom dull in comparison. As the sun fully revealed itself it seemed to swell, loosing its focus and spreading. An easy breeze picked up and lifted the white sails of a fairly large ship, ruffling the clothes of the men scurrying around on board.

A single man stood still on the deck, piercing greenish blue eyes glaring towards the approaching city, after long hours of sailing from Sweden, Berwarld felt a pang of excitement in his chest.

Today they would be invading their enemy's in Finland for hopes of finally getting revenge for the age old war.

A long silence crept over the ship until everything exploded into action.

Thunk!

The ship slid onto shore and the crew jumped down onto the docks, yelling loudly with all kinds of weapons drawn, rushing towards the foreign land.

Screams of the innocent erasing the peace of the land and it's people.

Berwald stepped onto the foreign territory and took a deep breath. Today was just like training. He would conquer. The blond let the soil crunch beneath his feet as he walked into the town, His weapon in hand, Ready to slay the enemy. "auttaa! Säästä meidät kiitos!" cries of the Finnish people fell onto deaf ears as Berwarld and the others in his crew killed, smashed into houses, destroying everything that stood in their path.

Pressing his back against a stone building, the swede closed his eyes trying to catch his breath, these people were in fact putting up a good fight.

Berwald pushed himself off the wall and turned the corner, there in the middle of the devastation stood a small blond male, a look of horror stuck on the Finnish males pale face as he watched the blood shed occur around him, he stumbled back and spun around, strange bright violet eyes meeting greenish blue.

Berwald gripped onto his sword tightly, something about the smaller man was different, before either could react berwald found himself in front of the blond, grabbing onto the collar of his shirt and pulled him back into place before he could think about running off, and in a rough version of the Finnish language he spoke, "T'll me who you a'r."

He seemed to shrink under the others gaze, biting down on his lip he forced himself to look into the giants eyes, "I-im...Tino vainamainen" The man whispered.

Berwalds eyes widen, He'd heared of Tino, everyone in his kingdom knew of the man. However, What he thought he knew was that the tino he'd been taught to hate was a ruthless killer as big and burly as they came. Not a small, thin man who smelled...

of herbs and spices?

"W're l'vin now...C'll off the m'n" He glared at his crew. They looked at him confused but nodded, and dragged away the injured men to the long boats. Berwald turned to tino, "Yer c'min with me"

The small finn seemed to comprehend what was going on and pushed himself out of the Swedish mans hold, "W-what! I'm not coming with you!" Tino yelled, His fear replaced with anger. Berwald just stared at him, Wondering what he was suppose to do now. No one had ever resisted captivity against him before. He blinked and continued staring at the blond.

Tino blinked a couple times, Staring back up at the large man as a awkward silence surrounded the two.

Of course Berwald decided not to listen.

He then grabbed him up and flinged him over his shoulder, Before walking off towards the ships with a squirming Finn slamming his small fist against his back. Berwald ignored his struggling and continued on. He made it to his ship and tossed tino down on the floor of the boat carelessly as they sailed away from his enemy land and back towards home.

Tino winced as he landed on his back on the ground, He sat up glancing around his new surroundings. Berwald began calling out orders to get back to Sweden's territory. He let his gaze land down at tino, But said nothing more then, "B'rw'ld oxensteirna."
