Jack O'Neill was invincible. Or so they say.
He can walk into battle with a hundred jaffa and come out with his head held high.
He has been tortured, hurt and a few times he was even killed in more painful ways than anyone can imagine, but give him an asprin or two and he'll be fine tomorrow.
Yeah, invincible.
But there was one thing in the universe that could hurt him, as he was finding out now. The torture was slow, like water dripping on your forehead, and slowly, ever so slowly, he felt it cut deeper than he had ever been hurt. He felt the fear and hurt spread over him as the antagonist continued.
He was being cut down by the only person who could ever hurt him.
And so he asked the only thing he could at a time like this, "Humming?"
