Yes, I know that this chapter is short, but there are sure to be plenty of chapters (like 60 of them) and they will get longer. Thank you and R&R!

Cece walked up the old, dusty roads of Great Falls, Montana. She kicked up dust, sending billows of dirt into the air. "They can't make me go," Cece said, "I could stay with a friend, starve myself to death, run away," Run Away, "I could pay for and apartment," Run Away, "I could get a job in a circus." Run Away. Cece opened the door to her house, Run Away, "Sweetie, you need to start packing up," said her mother's voice. "But I don't want to go!" Cece shouted, storming up to her room and slamming the door behind her. "Just let her cool off," muttered her dad. Cece collapsed o her bed. Why now? She thought, why must my life be ruined now?

Run Away. Run Away? Run Away! Cece came to he senses, tossing clothes, a few pictures, her life's saving, and a water bottle into a bag as she climbed out her bedroom window. It's a good thing that dad is working on the roof, Cece thought. The air was growing cold, she would have to travel quickly to find shelter by night fall. She tiptoed across the roof, not daring to make a sound. My parents don't have to rule my life, Cece thought, it's my time now.
