A/N: Again, really sorry that this chapter is basically short fluff. It'll get more intense once the nect chapter rolls around ;)
When the story starts, Eli and Clare are laying down on the front of Morty in the trees by the abandoned church. Enjoy! :) Can we try for at least 2 reviews? Pleaseeee? :D Okay here's the story now go ahead and read! :)
"Eli," her soft breath caressed my face, furthering my desire for her warm, rose colored lips to be crushed against my cold ones. I stared into her deep blue eyes, reminiscing about the day fate brought me this curly haired angel.
"Yes, Clare? My angel, oh my sweet, darling love Clare?" I gave her a playful wink and a signature smirk to indicate that I was half joking. I stared into her cerulean coloured eyes, wondering what thoughts lurked behind them. Hopefully one was that she wanted to kiss me as much as I wanted to do such to her.
"Promise me something?" She shifted her head on Morty's windshield, looking on, past the abandoned church.
I frowned, confused at Clare's sudden dismay. "Anything. What's wrong?"
She looked back at me with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. She ran her fingers through my hair looking me passionately deep in the eyes.
"Promise me that someday-"
"Someday soon?" I asked with eyebrows raised.
She gave me a look of disapproval. "Sorry Blue Eyes. Stop, Rewind, and play." I smirked.
She sighed, still tangling her fingers through my hair, reaching my neck and continued, "Promise me that someday SOON," she paused, giving a half smile while looking for approval I presume. I chuckled and gave her a small nod, her cue to go on. "That we'll get away from all this. The drama, the pressure. Promise me that we'll run away. Just you and me, together, against the world."
She smiled a smile that made my heart beat faster every time I saw it. The smile that lit up her eyes so they were as clear as day, as beautiful as the ocean, yet as soft as the sky. But something distracted me from this beautiful sight. Coming from Clare, this was no ordinary request. The most running away she'd ever wanted to do was to my house when her parents were fighting. I just had to ask.
"But Clare, why would you-"
"Shut up Eli," She said, playfully giggling. She lightly tugged on my hair and softly pressed her lips against mine.
All thoughts disappeared from my head except for one:
Finally! I thought she'd never ask!
I slid my hand past her shoulder to just above her waist. Our bodies developed a certain rhythm to eachother, so to speak, our lips never separating. This scene continued for roughly ten minutes, though I never wanted it to end. By the finale of this passionate makeout session, I was laying next to Clare stroking her fragile cheek, breathing heavily, staring into those deep blue eyes as she smiled at me.
I only had one final thing to say. "I promise Clare." No questions asked. I was too in love with her to not do anything she asked of me. I just wanted her to be happy, with me by her side.
She gave me a huge hug, thanks enough coming from her. We lay there for a while, not saying a word. Just enjoying eachother's company, watching the sky through a break in the trees.

A/N: Review! Review! Review! I need criticism! ;D LOL If no one reviews, I'm going to assume that my stories suck and I'll stop writing. :( Hopefully that's not the case. Hope you enjoy this story while it lasts! :)
