"I'll Never Give Up On You"

I'm just a huge fan of poems these days, and if any one of you have ever seen my poems before, you're about to get another awesome poem. This time, it'll feature my favorite couple from the show, Jack Brewer and Kim Crawford. Anyway, this takes place after the events of the episode "Wasabi Forever". And just so you know, this takes place in Jack's POV. Enjoy.

Jack's POV

I sit away at night rolling around in my car

Riding away my problems faster than my kicks

Knowing that being separated from her

Was the only painful feeling that ticks

Not even my friend Milton could keep me company

From the way me and her departed ways

And yet when I still drive, I think of everything

Beautiful around her that slays

Everything from her gorgeous blonde hair

And her precious brown eyes makes my heart flutter

But when she displays that perfect smile of hers

My heart and everything inside me turns to butter

I always remember the times we shared together

That was between you and me

From sharing that awesome first date

To helping out Milton hook up with a chemistry cutie

I can't also forget the time you lost your memory

How it felt so heartbreaking to me

But when you remembered that bracelet I gave you

It made my heart turn to glee

We definitely had our memories

And that's something I'll treasure forever

I always thought the good times between us would last

Until that life-changing endeavor

When you got that offer at Otai Academy

My heart stopped like the speed of a kick

While I was willing to support you on the outside

The only thing I felt on the inside was a cruel trick

I didn't want to let you go

Knowing it's your pretty face that I'll miss

But I understand that it was for the best

So let's just end this with a kiss

Now that you're gone from me

My heart is now sitting on the shelf

And with Milton sitting beside me, playing his straws

I wonder if you're feeling the same thing yourself

It won't be the same without your love

And it's killing me all too right

I pray this won't be the end of us just yet

So I know I'll carry on from this fight

But we'll meet again someday, Kim

And this is forever true

That if you'll never give up on me

I know I'll never give up on you.

Awwwwww, they really do make a cute couple, don't they? I've found out that there are some cute poems involving this couple on the Kickin' It fandom, and I'd figured I'd squeeze this one in for the category. I don't know why, but I actually enjoy making poems like these. It's really that fun in my part.
