After completing novice training, you enter a dimly lighted room. There's a man sitting behind a desk. You walk towards him. Then he stands up and starts talking before you get to say anything. He says, "It seems that you have completed your training. You can either choose to be warped to Prontera and start your adventure, not knowing what to do, or you can take this personality test to see what you should be. You can be a mage, swordsman, thief, acolyte, merchant or an archer."
"I know what I'm doing." You reply.
"Let's start the test," he goes on without your opinion. You decide it's for the best and nod to the man. He says, "please sign your name here…. And then we can begin." You sign your name. He asks you some random questions such as:
Some stranger goes up to you and punches you for no reason, so you
1. Punch them. 2. Kick them. 3. Kill them. 4. Ask them why they did that. 3
Of course you choose kill them, being the person you are. Nobody should punch you! After the test, he announces, "Ms. Teltra, we have your results…. Your results are…. Here they come…." And after about 5 minutes the man announces, "It is suggested that you become a thief!" You wonder why on earth you got the thief result. You think that you're gentle, other than the minor fact that you always want to stab something.
You assume that the test was a waste of time and decide that that is the wrong path. You blurt out, "I've decided to become a swordsman!"
The man replies, "But the test-" You interrupt him, which makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. He attempts to continue, "But you're not brave, plus your violen-" you violently punch the man, because you just want to get on with life, and your time is being wasted by standing around with this stupid man…. He doesn't know you, and shouldn't decide what your personality is. (Not realizing that the punch told him enough about you) The man stares at you for a second, and then after a while he says, "I will warp you to Izlude, where you can become a swordsman….." All of a sudden a burst of light comes emerging from the ground. With his duty done, the man returns to doing absolutely nothing. Another novice walks up to him, but he stands up and starts talking before she gets to say anything. "It seems that you have completed your..."
You walk into this light and feel yourself lift to the air.
