"They're singing to me. They're siiiiinging to me" she smiled pleasantly, swaying back and forth.
Spike rolled his eyes, sometimes Dru's crazy really annoyed him. "Who's singing to you, pet?"
"The walls. Oooooh Spike can't you hear them? And the air, it dances." She slowly moved her fingers in the air in front of her, eyes transfixed on something distant. "How pretty it dances. I want to dance with them." Her gaze still far off Drusilla rose and began swaying and turning to the music only she could hear. You'd never guess by looking at her that this beautiful, slender woman had recently slaughtered an entire family, taking her sweet time draining the little ones of everything they had.
"You dance pretty too," Spike wound an arm around her waist, speaking softly in her ear "mind if I join you?"
She giggled gleefully and spun away from him. "Naughty puppy, Mummy's dancing with the fairies now. Wait your turn.
Spike grumbled something not so nice about her sodding fairies and Dru stopped to look at him. She looked sad and hurt and he immediately regretted it. "Sorry love, you dance pretty with your fairies, alright?" She continued happily as if nothing had happened. Spike slumped down into a nice recliner, not paying any mind to its previous owner who lay lifeless next to it.
