Welcome to my first (public) fanfiction!

So on with the disclaimer.

Yes. Even though it has been said MILLIONS of times (literally) I still have to say that I don't own anything. NOTHING is mine, unless I create characters. You may be seeing the same names in a lot of my Fanfictions, because those are awesome tomboyish names and I am a tonmboy.

So anywho, I don't own anything, nintendo does, and I'm jealous

So enjoy!

Link POV

I ran through the forest, branches slapping against my face here or there, and blood streaming down from wherever a branch had hit me. I was panting harder and harder with every step I took. My lungs were screaming for me to stop, but I ignored their pleas for air and ran harder than ever. "OH LINKY-POO!" a feminine voice called from behind me. Zelda had accidentally drunken the love potion that was sitting out on one of the counters, and had fallen madly in love with me. I then saw my chance. I dived behind a boulder and tried to slow my pulse down. After several failed attempts, I had just let myself breath. I heard footsteps walking down the path to my other side. I dropped to my stomach as a voice, barely audible above my heartbeat and heavy breaths, struck my ears. It was soft and sweet. And as I breathed, I heard it, it was a song I didn't recognize, but the words stuck in my head.

I watch the sky so clear and blue,

I feel the mud beneath my shoe

Awating my trial when the e'ening comes

But for now all I can do is sit and hum

A stolen ring,

From the king

A stolen pear

From my lady fair

A stolen clock

A ship from the dock

But for now all I can do is sit and hum

Awating my trial when the e'ening comes

When the clock strikes seven

I look to heaven

And cry out to the goddesses

"Please take me in my brokenness"

When the clock strikes ten

The whole world will then

Turn to darkness

And I will become ageless.

But for now all I can do is sit and hum

Awating my trial when the e'ening comes

I listened as the last note came out beautifully, and I went to see who was singing. When I reached the clearing, I was surprised at what I saw. Saria was sitting there, picking flowers and humming softly to herself. I sat up and brushed my tunic off, thinking that zelda was probably deep in the woods. I would probably have to take her back to hyrule once the potion wore off. But for now, I think that it would be safer if I just left her there. She had plenty of food, enough to last her for a month. After a few weeks, I would go and find her. After all, a kingdom without a princess would probably cave in on itself. I stood catiously, making sure not to draw attention to myself, and ran back down the trail.
