When We're Finally Home

Summerary: A sad story about the Titan's final fight.
The bad guys come marching,
Down the city street.
We look to each other nodding,
before we attempt this deadly feat.
Raven was the first to go,
Her strong powers backfired.
She over reached her limit,
And was shot while she was tired.
Robin rushed the evil doers,
Greif tore at his face,
But they pulled him from the air,
And halted him in his vengful chase.
They threw him him through the sky,
And he landed on his head.
As soon as we saw him hit the ground,
We knew that he was dead.
Starfire gave a strangled cry,
And flew to Robin's side.
Then a laser found it's mark,
And a greiving Starfire died.
So now it's down to me and you.
My best metallic friend,
And there are some things I'd like to say to you,
Before we meet our end.
Thanks for always being there for me,
When I was all alone,
And Cyborg, you must fight on!
Even if the next scream is my own.
So as we fight back to back,
Waiting for the end,
Just know that whatever happens,
You will always be my friend.
And as a blast of pain,
Seemingly rips open my chest,
I hear you yell to me,
"Don't leave me by myself!
"I don't want to be alone!"
I'll see you on the other side, dude,
Since I'm the next to go,
I'll wait for you my best friend,
Even if the stars fall first.
'So thank you for the good times, man.'
I hear myself moan.
I guess I'll see ya' later dude,
When we're finally home.
I think that this is the most depressing thing I've ever written. I just woke up one morning with the feeling that I had just had a dream that was really deppressing. I couldn't get the line 'When we're finally home.' Out of my skull. (hahaha! Skull is a really funny word!)So I wrote this. Please please please please please REVEIW!
