Crona struggled to get out of Medusa's grip.
"Stop Crona." Medusa snapped. Crona flinched and abruptly stopped struggling as Medusa continued to pull Crona down the street. "Crona! Hurry!" Crona picked up speed, trying to keep up with her agitated mother.
"I-I'm trying." Crona wined pathetically. Medusa stopped and turned sharply to Crona and hissed. Crona looked at the ground. "I-I'm sorry." Crona muttered.
"Shut up!" Medusa slapped Crona. "I'm not in the mood to listen to your whining!" Crona rubbed her face pitifully. "I have to deal with Eruka, so just shut your mouth and you won't get hurt."
Crona rubbed her face one last time them Medusa grabbed her wrist and started to drag her around a corner. Crona looked down the alleyway to notice the small frog witch standing at the end of the alley.
"Hello Eruka." Medusa hissed as she pulled Crona to in front of Eruka.
"Geko! H-hello Lady Medusa."
"What was so important that you needed Crona and myself."
"Well, the son of Lord Death is out of Gallows manor for the night, and I've heard that there are souls locked away in a vault inside."
"And?" Medusa asked impatiently.
"And, Crona could eat those souls and become a keishen."
Medusa's eyes widened. "That is actually a good idea Eruka. I believe you deserve a reward." Medusa released Crona and stepped toward Eruka. "Now you get a snake out of you" Medusa grabbed Eruka's neck and shoved her hand down Eruka's throat. Eruka squirmed and gagged as one of Medusa's snake tattoos slithered up her arm. Medusa slowly pulled her hand out of Eruka's mouth. "Now, you're welcome. Crona!"
"Y-yes?" Crona flinched.
"Follow me." Crona flinched as Medusa grabbed her wrist again.
"Yes mam." Crona followed obediently. Crona stared at the ground as Medusa pulled her towards Gallows Manor.
