AN: So this was actually a school project where we had to write a poem in five minutes or so... I simply decided to replace the name of my original character with "B", because I found this short piece to be eerily fitting for our jam-loving murderer...

So basically this poem kinda states that B just killed someone ("duh'), and that someone *should* be A, but you can read it as someone else if you don't like the whole idea of B having killed A. Hope this caused a little spark of SOME form of emotion

PS: There is another secret message in here, as most of my poems tend to have. See if you can spot it, and if you do,REVIEW! Thanks!

Sweet Dreams

in dreams they are real, as solid as stone

the touch of dank, dismembered bone

fingertips run along the sharp tips

to the cold steel blades, pressed on the lips

of the still, quiet blond laid on the bed

light, tousled curls of hair on his head

his lips a strange mauve, against waxen skin

his eyelids dark hallows, stretched paper-thin

in the back of the room, the AM radio grumbles on

while early birds are scattered across a lush front lawn

and sparrows chirp good-mornings towards a rising sun

All warnings to the boy he can not undo what has been done

the pounding elevates inside his tight chest

as his legs urge him on-there is no time for rest

he rinses his hands under the tap, scorching hot

to wash away the feeling of his stomach in a knot

but ring, ring, ring-the telephone screams

a cruel reminder that this is no dream

he waits it out, all nervous prone;

is relieved to hear the dial tone

"please leave your message after the beep,'

says the monotone of the answering machine

there is a slight pause, before the line dies

B hopes that the other end ceases to try

because logic knows that when your heart stalls

You can longer answer your calls
