Nowhere and Nothing

Space was endless. And the evil that dwelled in space was endless.

She'd tried to seal what she'd could. But she knew full well it would never be enough. That she was just delaying the darkness: the day all the lights of hope and life would go out, and despair and death would reign supreme.

And she was just trying to hold on to her last hope when she sent her star seed into that endless space, hoping it would grow and spread like the darkness it chased: hoping it would find other, similarly strong, lights so that, one day, they would be strong enough together to drive that evil away.

But space was endless. And so was the evil that dwelled there. Even if the light became endless like that, it was still impossible to destroy the evil completely.

She tried to give that evil an end, to seal it up within her own body. But she could only seal what she could. And she knew full well it would never be enough. It could never be enough.
