A/N: It's not often that you see me post stuff, but um, here. XD I honestly don't know how this came out so weirdly, but drop a review to tell me how bad it was? :D

Rain

"But he doesn't love you like I do," Fuji said, his voice trembling with a strange note of vulnerability. He stepped forward and gripped Tezuka's arms, forcing the other man to look at him. "The love is different."

"I know." Tezuka swallowed thickly, and met Fuji's cerulean's eyes.

"He doesn't love you as much as I do."

"I know."

"He can't - he won't love you as much as I can."

"I know."

"He won't care for you as much as I could."

"I know."

"He - he won't, no, can't…" Fuji's voice cut off, and he let go of Tezuka to wrap his arms around himself, as though he was trying to bring in as much warmth as he could through the rain falling outside. It was painful. It hurt too much.

"I know," Tezuka's voice came, his voice no higher than a whisper, threatening to crack. It was rare that anyone saw him like this. Fuji wanted to cover his ears, do anything to stop him from saying those words that he did not want to hear. But he could no longer move, as the chill of Tezuka's words froze his fingers, froze his mind, and still managed to choke emotion out. "But I love him."

Fuji was broken, and he knew that there was nothing more to say. "But I've always loved you the best."

There was no hesitation. "I know."

Outside, the rain kept falling.
