Heya!
So, basically, this all started in Cardiff. I went there for work experience, but whilst I was down there I discovered something. I was walking along the Bay and realised that I was near where the 'tourist office entrance' for Torchwood 3 was based. And then I saw paper...
Heading down there I found a memorial wall aimed at all the dead of Torchwood (especially Ianto), and an idea struck. I ripped a page out of my notebook and left a message – one from 'Torchwood 4'. The message itself was:
"Rest in peace, fellow members. We will grieve you as our own. It is sad that we never met, but know this.
Where you finish, we begin.
E. Tannen, Torchwood Four
(Position secret)"
Originally I began writing a fanfic about a group of teenagers who made up Torchwood 4, and based them in the Channel Islands. I ended up giving up on it as nobody was interested and I couldn't think of the middle of the plot. However, I've recently begun designing just one character of Torchwood Four, a woman in her mid-twenties called Eleanor Tannen. She's the archivist, correspondent and backup field agent for the team (a bit like Ianto but without the Welsh accent, suit and expert skills with coffee. Oh, and also no pterodactyl... yet.) So basically she does the office work, the PR and deals with a select group of UNIT officials who know they still exist. The thing is, I've made an LJ account for her, although so far it's empty – and what I really need is people to create their own OCs to make up the rest of the team. It's pretty open to whatever people want to do, but my only request is no immortals. After all, that'd be a job to explain when it comes down to dealing with them in the future.
