Author's note: Hey, I have no idea where the fuck this thing came from, I'm in a great mood. But anyways, here's a little poem Yami is supposedly writing about Yugi, after he hung himself. There really isn't a category for it, so I put it in angst. It's really not that sad, but Ethan told me to put it here. Ethan's my muse (Yes, I named my muse. No, I'm not crazy. Lots of people name their muses! Maybe I just read fics by weird people...hey shut up! Most of them are good!). Well without further distractions, here you go! No wait, I forgot. I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh. You don't want me to.
Such innocence and beauty
It seems too precious to waste
Long ago it became my duty
To protect and to embrace

Why must he be treated so
Why must he suffer this way
It seems so sad to see him go
Slowly day by day

It makes my stomach churn to see
The way he seems to cry
The way he says so hopelessly
He wishes he could die

As his tears come silently
He reaches for the rope
I watch my love in agony
And hope against all hope

Where will I go now
For comfort and for love
My love is gone forever
With the peaceful sign of the dove
