Gene Hunts Diary
19th July 1967
I have just had the weirdest day. One minute I was in the middle of a car chase in 2003 and now I'm in 1967. The last thing I remember from 2003 was that I was in a car chase and the car slid off the road in to the Mersey River, when suddenly I was on the river side sat at the driving wheel of a an Alfa Romeo 1600! I am GENE HUNT! GENE HUNT DOES NOT DRIVE AN ALFA ROMEO 1600. I drove to the police station as I am a MANC so I am familiar with the area. In 2003 I am TOP dog, but when I arrived their was a man smartly dressed in a proper police uniform with a goofy hat. He said I am DCI Smith. I am the top officer here. I am leaving and you are my replacement. What??? Am I? yes you are. He said one last thing and then he walked off. That last thing was You Put In For It……
