Just a random idea I had whilst I was trying to sleep...(That is when I always seem to get my ideas)
The Fall of Beauty.
Harry had always watched him.
From the moment he glimpsed him in the great hall, his hair glittering silver under the moonlight, elegant pale fingers rubbing his half-closed eyes, he had watched him. His face shined with the innocence of a child, knowing nothing of the horrors to await him.
Harry is always watching him.
He tries not to, but he can't help it. He is too beautiful. From the moment he first saw him, his heart was captured.
But he tries to ignore the faint flutterings of his heart, covers it instead with hollow insults.
When those shining grey eyes lock into his, it takes all his strength to pull away his gaze.
When, in those rare times during fights that one accidentally touches the other, (electrical currents running though their bodies), it takes all his strength not to lean in to the touch, to embrace him.
But that is all in the past.
When the other had given in to his darkness, walked away over an invisible line to join the other side, it took everything not to run after him, to beg him to stay, to beg him to be beautiful again.
Now, his hair hangs unkempt, his once elegant fingers grip the wand tightly as he kills, his eyes blaze alight with sick fascination.
All Harry wants is for him to be beautiful again.
How was it? Review please. (It only takes a second!)
