SPIDER MONKEY 1.5: KNOWING WHO TO TRUST

"Lazlo, are you sure you wanna do this?" Harold asked. And he answered, "Yes Harold, it's for the best." And with that, he slid his mask on.
Raj and Clam meanwhile were rushing up to the camp tree house. Earlier, Harold told them that Spider Monkey wanted to meet his two biggest fans personally. Obviously excited, they grabbed a piece of paper and pencil, hoping that they would get an autograph from their hero.
Raj yelled as he ran, "Hurry up Clam, we don't wanna be late for Spider Monkey!" Clam, following closely behind him, yelled back, "Spider Monkey!"
Unfortunately, their cries for happiness didn't go unheard. While walking along a path, minding her own business, Patsy overheard Raj and Clam going to see Spider Monkey. "Holy cow, Spider Monkey?!" she thought to herself, "I've got to get a picture of him!" Patsy pulled out a disposable camera she picked up last time she was at Prickly Pines and followed Raj and Clam unnoticed.
The two Jelly Cabin boys got into the tree house. And all of the sudden, Spider Monkey came swinging in through the window. "Hey guys what's up?" He asked. Raj and Clam turned around, rushed up to him and gave him a hysterical hug. Spider Monkey giggled a little, "Ha! Okay guys please let me go now." The duo let Spider Monkey go, who then took a deep breath, and said, "Guys, there's a good reason why I've gathered you here today."
Spider Monkey closed his eyes, and said, "Raj, Clam, promise me you won't scream out loud…" He took off his mask, revealing Lazlo's face. Raj and Clam's eyes became as wide as dinner plates, and they screamed in total shock.
Patsy meanwhile, who was in a tree branch trying to get a good picture of Spider Monkey, was even more shocked than the Jelly Cabin campers, and she fainted, fell off the branch and landed in a bush, cushioning her landing.
"Guys, keep it quiet!" Lazlo yelled, trying to calm his friends down. "I know this is a bit of a shock to you guys, but I can't afford to let anyone else know about this." Raj and Clam finally stopped screaming, but Raj frantically asked, "How long did you have these powers?!"
"I believe I got them during that science fair. One of Nina's spiders bit me and it must have done something to me." Lazlo said. He then went on explaining how he grew to like those powers, why he became a hero, and his encounter with Harold.
"Can I trust you two to keep this a secret from everyone else, but Harold?" Lazlo asked.
Raj and Clam looked at each other, and then looked back at Lazlo, smiling, and Raj said, "Absolutely Lazlo. We're best friends, you can count on us." "Hero pals." Clam added. Lazlo smiled and replied, "Thanks guys, I knew I could count on you guys."
Meanwhile, back outside, Patsy was just coming too when she overheard Raj and Clam promising to keep Lazlo's identity a secret. But this was as much as a shock to her as it was to the other Jellies. She honestly didn't know what to feel. Happy, shocked, both?
That's when she realized that it was Lazlo who saved her during the robot attack on Prickly Pines. She smiled to herself and as she got up and walked back to Acorn Flats she thought to herself, "Don't worry Lazlo, if it means that much to you, I'll secretly keep your secret safe."
