Princesses don't leave their tiaras sitting on their vanities in the morning.

Princesses don't leave their fancy dresses for a gray shirt with no sleeves, and black pants that didin't even come close to their knees, and black socks that reached their knees, and black boots, good for running.

Princesses didn't run around with the village kids.

Princesses weren't forgotten.

That's why, Annabeth really didn't count herself as a princess.

She'd always lived in her sisters shadow.

Repunzel has glowing hair. Repunzel was kidnapped at a small age. Repunzel fell in love with a thief. OH IT'S ROMEO AND JULIET! WELL I'M SORRY I WASN'T DRAMATICALLY TRAMAUTIZED AND- Sorry. Sorry.

Anyway, my sister is all the things they say she is. She's sweet and kind, and her husband is amazing, too. It's just that, because she's so great, I'm forgotten. Never mentioned. I mean, there's another kid. Another kid... A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL THAT YOU JUST THROUGH TO THE WOLVES! I KNOW I'M NOT AMAZING LOOKING! I KNOW I HAVE ODD HOBBIES! I KNOW I-

Oh lord... sorry. I'm really sorry.

Anyway, I was standing next to my mother and father, wearing a sleek, silvery gown and my tiara, when it happened.

A commoner burst through the doors, dragging a boy who looked to be around my age on his back.

"I found him in the woods while hunting. He... he's going to die."

The commoner layed the boy on the floor, and my parents continued to just glare at him.

I angrily glared at them and hurried over to the boy.

"Help me." I told him, taking the boy's arm. "I know how to help him."

"Annabeth!" my mother snapped, "What are you doing? He is a warrior of Atlantis!"

It was true. The boy was. Atlantis was the arch enemy of Athens. The only reason we weren't at war, was because Atlantis was being bombarded by the dark realm. A realm of thevies and murderers, ruled by Hades, the evil over lord.

"I will not let him die. We do not know of his intentions. We do not understand yet of why he is here." I snapped at her.

Queen Athena stood from her throne and left the room, as the commoner and I began to drag the boy to a closet at the end of the throne room.

When we got there I opened it up and pulled out a pillow for him to rest his head on.

He had many wounds.

Blood ran down the side of his head. He no longer had any armour on, and his clothes were ripped to shreds. He had a long cut down his left leg, and his nose was bleeding as well. But the worst wound, was a deep wound right into his stomach. That one needed to be tended to first. I grabbed many things out of the emergency attack closet.

Disenfectant, bandages, a needle and thread, water, and many herbs that would dull the pain, and help the wound.

I wiped down the stomach wound to get all the blood off, as the commoner gave him herbs to put him to sleep, and to dull the pain.

I then put the disenfectant on it, and it began to foam madly.

"There is not much we can do for this." I told the commoner. "We will have to see how much of a fighter he really is."

The commoner nodded as I pulled out the needle and thread and went to work.

The commoner cringed every time I sewed another loop.

After I had succesfully sewed up the wound, I wrapped up the boy's middle, and went to work on his head.

I then began to tend to the boy's head.

I cleaned it off and put on some disenfectant, and then wrapped it.

The same operation was used for the leg, and I could only wipe down the nose.

"Now I will have to call the nurses to come pick him up on a gurney. Stay here." I hurried away towards the nurses rooms, wich, thankfully, were not to far from the throne room.

Soon he was lying in a bed with a nurse by his side.
