AN: Real quick, I'm pretty sure this was written just after Episode 3-14 Insensitive. When I saw it in my files, I thought that maybe someone else had written it, cause I didn't remember writing it till later on in the day.

This has NOT been beta'd so any and all mistakes are mine. Feel free to point out the glaring ones!

No Strings Attached

Chase swallowed thickly. He couldn't believe that he was going to go through with this. Ever since Cameron had proposed that "no-strings attached" sex, he had been thinking about it constantly. The idea of just sex wasn't appealing, but the idea that he could get Foreman, well, that was a bit more "happy thoughts". He knew that Foreman wasn't completely straight. Any man that wore clothes like that was at least a metro-sexual, which meant there was a possibility of him being slightly, well, not straight.

Chase steeled his nerves. 'I'm just going to do this and get it over with.' he thought. 'The worst thing that can happen is he'll say no, or hate me, or out me to the hospital nurses, or…' Chase stopped in the middle of the hallway. He had been on his way to diagnostics to find Foreman. Though the considerations he'd had over the last week were amazing in their positive spirit, now that he began thinking about it, there was a very large possibility that Foreman would say no, or punch him. Chase knew how much that hurt, and didn't want a repeat. Just as he was turning to walk away, he heard a very familiar voice behind him.

"Chase! Hey, you okay man? You seem out of it. You were just standing there for…five minutes." Foreman had been watching him. 'Oh, dear.'

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just, um, tired or something. I'm going to go get some lunch." Chase breathed out a sigh of relief. He had covered his ass, or so he though.

"Hey, maybe I'll come with you. I didn't have breakfast this morning."

Chase almost panicked again, but held his stance and kept calm. "Sure. Sounds good. I'm heading to that coffee shop across the street."

Foreman immediately agreed. As they got a couple of sandwiches and sat down at one of the tables near the back, Chase was once again panicking. He was close to Foreman; he could hear him breathe.

"So…" began Foreman.

"So…" echoed Chase. "No-strings attached." He had just blurted it out. It wasn't intentional; it wasn't planned. In fact, this was planned against. Foreman raised his right eyebrow.

"Are you talking about what I think you're talking about?" He questioned.

"Um, it's like microwave pizza. Convenient? I mean, its, and I, yes, we're talking about no-strings attached sex. I mean, its not like I mean anything to you. It doesn't mean we're dating. We'll just have a…tension releaser?" Chase babbled. He wasn't sure why he hadn't stopped talking yet, but his mouth and vocal chords were working together against his brain to sabotage any chance he had of being suave or even lucky.

"Ok, so no-strings attached? Like microwave pizza? Seriously, man?" Foreman, though it wasn't apparent to Chase, was trying his best to hold in a laugh.

Chase's cheek bones gained a light flush as he ducked his head and mumbled in the affirmative.

"Alright…I can live with that." Foreman smirked, while Chase looked at him in shock.
