Hey Guys! I'm at it again writing my second story. This one is not going to be just another oneshot, I plan to make this one huge! Please review, it helps me figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Chapter 1: The Festival of Light

Every five years, the citizens of Hyrule perform an ancient ritual. It is called the festival of Light. Ever since ancient time when the Great Ganondorf was banished to the Evil Realm, Hyrule was charged with performing this ritual to keep the world in balance. The ritual is centered around the six Stones of Light, ancient emeralds with unlimited power. If anything happened to these stones the world would collapse.

"Wake up, Link!"

'Groan' Link moaned "It's still early, Nido"

"That's too bad," Nido said, "If you don't hurry up your going to miss the festival!"

"I still don't understand why I have to go, it's not like I haven't seen it before" Link sighed.

"You're going to go because I said you're going to go!" Nido yelled.

"Fine!" Link yelled back.

With that link crawled out of bed, opened his eyes and looked at his small house. There was a fire pit in the middle that keeps the house he shares with his brother Nido. He pulled on his clothes: a white shirt with brown pants and a wide leather belt. He then stepped outside into Kakariko Village.

Every five years, in Kakariko village, they citizens of Hyrule put on a festival in the courtyard in front of Link's house. Legends say the at before the courtyard existed there used to be a well with no water in it, it actually led to a grave yard underground. But after a ghastly monster escaped they destroyed the well and built this courtyard used for the festival.

A/N: I love putting in references to other games and might put in a lot more

Link stepped out of his house to see a huge crowd of people waiting in the courtyard for the festival to begin. Soon enough, six priests began walking through the throngs of people carrying six stones of a different color, heading toward the center.

Suddenly, Dark clouds began to circle the priests. A large bolt of lightning struck right in front of Princess Zelda, the one leading the priests, and a man garbed in a black cloak appeared! He Threw out his hand and with a flash of light all six stones and the man were gone!

It was pandemonium.

"Oh no! without those stones we can't perform the ritual!" Nido said shocked

"I know, and that means the world is going to tear itself apart." Link said.

"We've got to get them back!" Nido yelled

"Yeah but who can do that." Link said.

"I don't know," Nido sighed.

Yay! I'm done with the first chapter! I'm sorry if it was a little short, it was just the introduction. I promise it will get longer. Who is the Robed man? Who can get back the stones? Where are the stones? I bet you can guess but read on to find out. PLEASE Review I need the help
