"Alpha Team II, move in...Bravo..."
The radio trailed off as a group of men assaulted the building. The door were exploded as
silently as possible as the team moved in. The cries of the monsters rose above the cities as
three more Apache helicopter flew across the ruined city, a team positioned in each of them.
Michael Warren, a rookie U.B.C.S. member, was in one of them. He looked over his teamates,
each one armed with M-16s and armor packed with flash grenades, first aid kits and anything
else usefull in the field of duty. They were the Flash team, moving in fast and getting to the
labs before any of the other teams even had a chance to move into the first few basement
floors. He and each of the other team members had been equiped with a White Umbrella all-
acess card, opening all the doors in the now abandoned building...another howl rose up from
the city and a scream followed, Michael shifting in his seat uncomfortably.
The chopper leaned in as it lowered down in front of the building, the team checking their
weapons for one last time. The doors had already been blown, Michael noted. Then one of his
team member pushed forward, jumping from the chopper which now howered a few feet above
the ground. He landed and continued moving, the rest of his team following his lead. One of the
members stopped to tap Michael on his shoulder.
"Let's make this fast and easy, allright?"
Michael nodded to his team, who he regonized as Jake Adryan behind the mask, and smiled,
thinking he wasn't the only rookie on the team. He then stood up, checking his weapon as
tapped a Magnum he had brought along just for reasurrance and safety. He jumped out,
moving fast into the building as the whirr of the choppers became lower and lower...
The team had almost gone into the first floor as they noticed that there was a mark of blood on
one of the wall. More followed, a small pool before a door on which the Umbrella sign
designated "White Umbrella Labratories, Floor I". Slowly, the team had gone in...and then
something went wrong as the explosion took everyone off their feet, shattering the glass of the
door. Their radio had suddenly gone out, giving one message before shorting
out..."Strange...'chopper malfunctioni"
The light went out, each team member reading their weapons as they heard a moan coming
from each and every side...something terrible had happened here...something they now were
part of...
