IchiRukia. This is kind of a little thing I wanted to do for the latest Bleach Movie, Bleach: Fade to Black Kimi no na o yobu I call Your Name.

Rukia…Rukia…RUKIA! Ichigo wakes in a cold sweat as he sits bolt upright. He had a nightmare, about Rukia. He glances towards his closet. In there is the girl he loves, the girl that saved his family, the girl that he fears shall be taken from him.
He had dreamt that something had gone wrong with Rukia. She had disappeared into a black veil, and he couldn't pull her back. It wasn't just that fact that had frightened him, just before she had receded into the darkness he had heard something, a voice, and what it said was unpleasant.
'Anata no sonzai, ketsu…I shall erase your existence.' Ichigo shivered at the memory of the sweet, yet chilling voice. After that thing said that Rukia disappeared, gone forever, never to be in his arms again.
Ichigo got up and went to his closet. He stood there for a while, contemplating whether or not to knock. He decided to take the chance. He knocked quietly softly calling her name, reasoning that he was being quiet so wouldn't wake his family, but the real reason was that he didn't want his call to be heard. He didn't want to feel the pain if she really wasn't there. After a few long seconds the closet door slid open, revealing a tired looking Rukia.
"I-Ichigo?" She called, rubbing her eyes. She was cut off from saying anything more as his weight fell on her and he embraced her.
"R-Rukia…" Ichigo stuttered.
"I-Ichigo?! W-what's wrong? Oi! Oi! What's wrong with you?!" Rukia called, frantically trying to push him off, but secretly hoping she would fail. She felt something warm drop onto her shoulder, followed by another. "Oi! Ichigo! Are you crying?!" Rukia was getting worried now, Ichigo never cried. She doubled her efforts at shoving Ichigo off, she needed to know what was wrong. He did not budge.
"Ikanaide…Don't go…" Ichigo whispered to her. She stopped trying to shove him off, taken by his words. It was only one word but it brought tears to her eyes. She wrapped her arms around the boy, she didn't know what was going on all she knew was that Ichigo needed her.
"I won't." She whispered, wanting to stay in his embrace forever.
I know, it was lame. But I was thinking, what if Ichigo had a premonition of events to come? What if He knew from before some of what would happen to Rukia? Anyway, if anyone was kind enough to read this, please review.
