OK, I have this one shot, and another one coming up, and I also have a multi-chaptered story coming out! I can't wait to write it, but let's not get ahead of ourselves now. So here is my new one shot called: Cross my heart and hope to lie. :) ENJOY!
"Promise to never go out on your word?" She, with the beautiful green eyes said.
"Never." He, with the raven hair said.
Sakura was trying to ensure herself that she wouldn't get her heart broken...yet again.
"Promise that you will always be truthful to me?" Sakura asked
"Promise." Sasuke 'assured'
Sakura, believe it or not, had her heart broken too many times, and she wasn't about to let that happen again. She never wanted to experience that pain ever again. But, whenever she was down, Sasuke was always there to comfort her, and cheer her up. So when Sasuke asked her out, she was happy to say yes. But first, she needed his word on it.
"Promise to always be there for me?"
"You can always count on it."
Sakura didn't care if Sasuke grew restless of her asking all these questions, if Sasuke wanted to be with her, he would have to answer all these questions- truthfully.
"Promise to love me?" She asked.
"I already do." He replied with a smirk. She blushed and began to think of all the times she was heartbroken. It hurt her to think of those times, but with each answer Sasuke gave, she grew more and more sure that he was the one. But was she right to think so? Sakura thought so.
"Promise to be faithful?" Sakura questioned.
"Always." He answered.
Sakura was just about to finish up her interrogation and call it a day. Because it was killing her every second she didn't say yes already. Sakura was about to ask her last question when Sasuke placed his moist lips against hers. They kissed for what seemed like hours, but was really minutes, and came up for air. Sakura blushed as Sasuke smirked.
"One last question." She said still blushing.
"Anything." He said.
"Promise- never to break my heart?"
"I would never even think about it." Sakura, happy with what she heard, walked away after giving Sasuke one last kiss.
Before Sakura was clearly out of sight, he watched her leave. He turned around and walked on smirking.
"That was too easy." He remarked to no one in particular. And he walked on...still- with his fingers crossed in his pockets.
Oh! Trouble! Lol, anyways, that was fun to write. And sorry if its short, I just happen to like it that way. Look out for my other one shot and multi-chaptered story. Read and review! :) JA NE!
