Thomas had been invited to a party. The biggest party of the year to be exact, he wrapped his arms around himself leaning against the wall. He didn't know why he didn't like parties. Thomas was quite the people person, always liking to be the center of attention. But it was something about the loud music and the bright strobing lights that made him queasy. He looked around trying to find one of his friends or his brother . No one in sight.
He groaned sitting on the floor. He needed to get out before he puked or worse passed out. The blue haired boy curled up trying to block out the music.
"...I wanna go home..." he whined pathetically.
He stiffened suddenly when he felt a hand on his back. "Hey kid are you alright?"
He reconized that voice "Wha-?" He looked up into the silver eyes of Spencer.
"Thomas?" His usually arrogant face was contorted in concern as he kneeled down to the boys level." Why are you here by yourself? Did my so called cousin leave you here?"
He wasn't sure where Gordon was. Probably making out with Henry or something. His adopted brother was supposed to be keeping him company at the party but quickly left. Edward stayed home, parties weren't his thing either but Thomas wanted to see what a senior party looked like. He'd only let Thomas go because Gordon promised to keep an eye on him.Big mistake.
He gagged a bit hearing the music get louder. His stomach hurt, and drinking the punch didn't help either. It had a bitter taste to it but he was thirsty earlier and thought that was just from grapefruit juice.
"Don't tell me you drunk the punch.."Spencer moaned trying to pick him up. Thomas resisted not really trusting him from past experiences. Right, Spencer winced,he hadn't been very nice to him.
"C'mon... cousin." He added trying to seem more familiar. "I won't hurt you. Don't you want to leave?" He smiled as he picked up the 14 year old rather easily.
"You really need to put on some weight kid!" The 18 year old smirked." I'll take you to the fair in the spring and let you try food from every booth!" He boasted before feeling Thomas start to shiver with anxiety.
"But first lets get out." He muttered sheepishly cradling him closer. Spencer slowly started to navigate through the ocean of students until they were outside in the cool night air.
"I'll call Edward. You're staying the night by me." He looked at his watch.12:00. He quickly found his car, opening the door, and placing the now sleeping Thomas in the back seat. Spencer closed the door and got in the Lamborghini muttering about incompetent cousins who couldn't take care of children.
"Google call Edward." He started up the engine driving off. "
Hello?" A sleepy voice creaked through the speaker. "Who is this?"
"It's Spencer. I have Thomas." He swore he heard something break in the background.
"Where is he?!HOW is he?!" Edward panicked. "I knew I shouldn't've let him go there. Is he crying?! OhGodohGodOhGodohGod!!"
"Calm down Edward." He chuckled a bit." He's alright just sleeping." A soft snore came out of him in response. Thomas wasn't going to be waking up anytime soon.
"I think my pin head cousin left him by himself. Poor thing was curled up on the floor looking like he was ready to pass out." He drawled sympathetically. This time he was sure he heard something break .
"I'M GOING TO KILL HIM WHEN HE GETS HOME!!"
"I bet." Spencer smirked pulling up in his driveway. "Well I'll be keeping him for the night. So don't worry." And with that he hung up.
Thomas is in good hands though it seems Gordon is in for a good butt kicking when he gets home! Au revoir!
