Author's Note: Well this my first story to be posted on fan fiction. Actually any where on the internet for a matter of a fact and I am feeling nervous for posting this one-shot. So I will just push aside this feeling and just post this story. Now on to more important stuff, this oneshot for me is basically an experimentation piece to see if I can actually write good stories. So if it gets good reviews I will write a Lily/James fan fiction that is planned out all in my head, just so you know that one will have many chapters. I think I should stop babbling and let you read my first one-shot to be posted on please review once you finish reading. Constructive criticism is welcome and any other kind of review is welcome.
Oh yah, thank you for all of those kind reviews from the reviewers who reviewed the first time I posted this one-shot. (before I did some minor re-editing, I will do more editing in time, once you the readers catch the grammar, or spelling mistakes that I mistakingly missed.)
Disclaimer: All the characters in this one-shot is owned by J.K. Rowling and not me.
James opened the drawer, to one of his dressers, in his bedroom and pulled out a small black box. He walked over to where, Sirius sat and opened the box to reveal a beautiful diamond stone ring.
"What's the ring for?" Sirius asks.
"It is for someone special, you dolt," regretting his final words.
"Oh, wait. You are proposing to me," Sirius smiled.
"No, but you are close," James said.
"To Remus?" Sirius smiled even bigger.
"You are such a dolt, I AM GOING TO ASK LILY TO MARRY ME," James yelled so loud that Lily herself heard him, while she was walking up the stairs in order to get to the place where James was.
"What was that, James?" Lily walked into the room. Her bright green eyes lingered over the diamond ring in the black box.
"What is that?" Lily pointed to the box.
"Nothing," he snatched the box away from her view.
"That was a something. It looked like," a smile formed on her lips," an engagement ring."
"Wow, she's smart," Sirius awed.
"Well, smarter than you, " James paused, " Wait rephrases that, she is much smarter than you."
"Now that we got that clear, do you have a question to ask me?" Lily sat next to James trying to get a peak at the box, which was currently behind him.
"I am hungry, feed me," Sirius said suddenly.
"Feed your self," she said lazily.
"No," Sirius whined.
"I am not feeding you," Lily said.
"I see when I am not welcomed, I am going to Remus' house," Sirius apparated.
"Annoying isn't he," She turned back to James who was on the floor, one knee propped up. She raised an eyebrow at this sight.
"What I am tying my shoe," James said while actually tying his shoe, "While I am down here do you want to marry me?"
"Huh, I imagined your proposal to me to be more romantic. But I love you all the same, so I will just say - ," James scrambled up from the floor and kissed her knowing her answer would be –
"YES," Sirius yelled from the hallway.
Hope you enjoyed. Please review.
