The Day After
"A little this, a little that, a lot of my blood. Later" Benny says, and then quickly walks away with Ethan & Rory.
"I drank Benny's blood? This is awful." Erica asked Sarah pointing to herself.
"Yeah, so gross." Sarah replied to her best friend.

Benny quickly looks back at the girls, and then continues walking with Ethan & Rory.

"No, Sarah you don't understand, that was the best blood I ever tasted. I've been thinking about it all day." Erica said with mixed feelings going on inside her.
"It's OK Erica; everything tastes good when you're hungry." Sarah said.
Sarah then walks away; Erica looks forward, and then follows Sarah.

She totally loves him, Sarah thought at the back of her head.

Later that night:

"I'm up now, you can let go of me." I said gesturing for Benny to remove my arm from his shoulder. I looked up into his eyes; he had the same eye-colour as me. Emerald Green. I was thinking about that amazing blood-energy drink I had with Sarah earlier. It was the best thing I've ever tasted.

The Day After:

Erica was at her locker with Sarah, talking about her dream.
"It's like a re-cap of what happened yesterday." Erica said amazed.
"Well, there is a possible chance that you-" Erica cut Sarah off fully knowing what she was going to say. That didn't stop her.
"Mr. & Mrs. Weir. I like it." Sarah said teasing her friend.
"Did you know that Rory's full name is Ruben Johnson?" Erica asked, totally off subject.
"Look, Erica, it's just a little crush, I'm sure it will go away before you know it." Sarah said sighing.
"You're right; he's just a dork, with 5.0 GPA, a warm smile, and the best blood I've ever tasted." Erica said while doodling a heart with the word "Benny" with a hot-pink coloured marker in on the white board in her locker. She quickly realized what she was doing, then taking out a black marker and scribbling all over the heart she drew.

"BENNY!" Benny said popping out from behind the girls.

"GAH!" Sarah yelled.

"Sorry." Benny replied.

"Anyways, I was going through my grandma's closet, and I found this book all about vampires. Pretty cool eh? So, I was looking through it and I found out that if a vampire is developing romantic feelings toward a mortal, or a non-vampire, their blood, well, would be like the best they've ever tasted. Even if it isn't O negative. Pretty freaky right? Any who, I gotta go to gym before Coach Morris gives me detention. Later."

Sarah looked at Erica, whose hands were trembling.

"I….I…..Love Benny."
