The Corner of her Eye

Bolin had been missing for several hours now. The Equalists had taken him, but Korra and Mako had no idea where. They had searched throughout the city while riding on Naga's back. But after many hours, they hadn't found a single trace of him.

Korra decided that they would stand a better chance of finding Bolin if they split up. Mako agreed, and so he and Naga headed off into the city to search for him. At the same time, Korra began walking along the streets in the opposite direction.

She had walked for miles, and her feet were killing her. She decided that she was going to call it a night and meet back up with Mako, so they could continue the search tomorrow.

Just then though, she heard a commotion coming from a nearby alley. Normally, she wouldn't have paid it much mind. But for some reason, she felt that it could be the clue she was looking for.

"Bolin!" She shouted as she ran down the alley. She dodged sleeping vagabonds and jumped over piles of trash. She rounded one corner, and then another, before reaching the end of the alley. Ahead of her lay a part of the alley that was too dark for her to see into.

"Bolin?" She called, hoping he would answer.

When she recieved no reply, she began slowly turning in a circle, wondering what she was going to do now. But then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted him.
