Chapter 1 - Chaos
Cross Academy.
A place where vampires and humans can "co-exist"
"Co-exist" my ass.
Before we get this show on the road, I should introduce myself. My name is Tomoyo Himura, 17 years old. And today is my first day in cross academy. The academy is world renowned for its educational scheme and once you've graduated from the academy, it's almost impossible not to gain a spot in the top universities around the world. A perfect place to study right? Wrong.
One word that should send you packing and run for the hills…
Vampires
Creatures of the night, bat people, blood drinkers, and parasites- whatever you associate with them. And how do the human not notice? Because they're in the night class, like the name suggests they study in the night, while the humans attend the day class. To the day class people they're the elite of the school, people who have the looks and the brains.
It also makes you wonder, how do I a mere human, know so much about the inner working of Cross academy? My adoptive father is a member of the vampire association. But, I know virtually nothing about my real parents- the only thing I did know is that I was named by them.
Anyways, back the story!
"You take care alright?" the old man said as he ruffled my hair.
"I will, promise" I said as I stuffed my suitcase into the taxi boot.
"Before you leave, I want to give you something, don't open it until you get settled, It'll come in handy" he said as he handed me over a large box, which looked pretty expensive.
"Oh, Otou-san you didn't-"
"Take it you idiot," he sighed as he shoved the box into my arms
"Yes s-sir!"
I got into the car and buckled my seatbelt; I then rolled down the window and peeked my head out of the work to see the vampire hunter.
"Try not to raise hell!" my father shouted as I waved at him
"I can't make any promises, I am your daughter!" I giggled as the car started to move, in which I receive an amusing expression from him. He responded with the shake of the head and waved back.
Soon, the vampire hunter was out of sight and I rolled up the window and collapsed at my seat. My eyes started to feel heavy as I dosed off to a peaceful slumber.
Tomo-chan!" a girl with brown hair shouted as she hugged me
"Yuuki!" I said as I returned the hug
"How have you been Tomo-chan?" she asked her sweet smile radiating the room.
"I'm doing well" I said as I spotted a sliver haired boy in the corner of my eye
"Zerorin, how have you been?" I said as I tackled him into a hug
"Himura! Get off me!" he growled as he struggle to pry himself off me
"Come on, Zerorin, you have more strength than that!" I giggled as I locked my arms around his neck
"Tomoyo, that's enough" said a man with an eye patch, my "father"
"Fine" I sighed as I let go of him, sliver haired boy scrambled onto his feet and gave me a death glare.
The brunette giggled and grabbed my hand.
"Tomo-chan, I'd like to introduce you to someone!" she said and she bolted out of the room
Zero little smirk, slowly turned into a hateful glare…that's real death glare…he hates this person that much?
Soon, yuuki enters the room with a guy who looks around two years older than me; he had brown hair like Yuuki's, although his eyes were a maroon colour, his eyes shrouded in mystery.
"Kaname-sama! This is Tomo-chan" Yuuki said excitedly with a red tinge on her cheeks, well, someone has a little crush.
"My name is Tomoyo Himura, a pleasure to meet you" I said grinning as I offered my hand to shake
"My name is Kaname Kuran, the pleasure is all mine Himura-san" he said as he took my hands, I was expecting a normal handshake, but he knelt to the ground and his lips pressed the back of my hand. I immediately removed my hand from his; I can feel my cheeks heating up. Suddenly, this sweet smell hit my nose, which can only mean…
"V-vampire!"
I was jerked awake by the beep of the horn of a less than pleased looking taxi-driver.
"We've arrived at the destination, the luggage is already out" he grumbled
"A-ah sorry," I said sheepishly as I scrambled out of the taxi.
"Thank-"
The car drove off before I could finish
"-you"
I turned around to face a long path which in the distance, I could see a gate which I was able to make out two figures.
I know EXACTLY who they are.
"YUUKI. ZERORIN!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, as I quickened my pace towards the gate. My call was heard by the shorter figure, which proceeded in the short girl to speed towards me.
"Tomo-chan!" the girl screamed back, quickening her pace even more.
"Yuuki-chan, it's been a while. But I suggest you slow down or you're gonna-YUU-"

She crashed into me.
"I've missed you so much!" She said as she gave me a hug as I sat up and patted her head in response.
"There, there Yuuki-chan" I replied, I guess somethings never change.
"Need a hand?" asked the silver haired boy as he offered me his hand
"Look at how much you grew Zero!" I laughed as I grabbed his hand and he hauled me up.
"Yeah, yeah "he said as he rolled his eyes, physically he may has changed but mentally he's the exact same.
"How's Cross-san doing?" I asked as I started to drag my suitcase through the gate
"Oh, father the same old, still eccentric as ever!" Yuuki replied with a grin.
"Why were you so late? You were supposed to be here for the afternoon classes…It's four" Zero asked with a frown on his face.
"…I wanted to have dad's cooking one last time and he was running late" I mumbled, I could feel my face heating up. Damn you Zero!
In response, Yuuki grinned and Zero did his famous eye-roll…it's just like the old times again.
"Tomo-CHANNNNNN!"
CRASH!
I was tackled into a hug by the headmaster of Cross academy…a full grown man, who was a hunter, crashing into a 17 year old girl to the ground, it gonna hurt…bad.
"This feels like Déjà vu" I groaned as I stood up and nursed my back.
"Finally after years of trying to convince Toga-san, he finally let you enrol!" he said joyously
"Only because you cut my tuition fees by a half, dad's not getting any big bounties nowadays" I replied with a sigh. With the purebloods becoming scarcer, they aren't wanted as much.
"So, Toga-san must have told you about the reason why I established this school!" he grinned completely ignoring my previous statement. "Well?"
"As long as they stick to blood tablets and not hurt any of the day class members, I don't see any problems" I shrugged
At this, the headmaster looked like a kid in Christmas morning.
"YES!" he said happily jumping up and down, earning a glare from Zero.
Once the headmaster had calmed down, he sat back on his desk and gave me a box with all the essentials I need.
"Anyways, back to business. Before I send you off to explore the grounds, I have a few things to run by you" he said as I rummaged through the box. It had my school uniform, sports uniform and an armband?
"As you already know the situation between the day and night class students, I will have to put you into the Disciplinary team" he grinned
"…and what does that consist of exactly?" I asked starting to become suspicious.
"You, Yuuki and Zero will ensure that no day class members will find out about the night class, which of course involves doing patrols and monitoring the exchange period" The more he talked, the less I liked it. So THIS was why the tuition fees are so cheap!
"okay, as I have no say in this, can I have the side effects of doing this so I know what I'm in for?" I sighed
"Barely any sleep, annoying fan girls and no friends" Zero listed in a monotone voice.
Great, just great
Faint squeals came from outside the office.
"Your duty starts now! Please put on your uniform and be on your way!" he said as he started to push us three to the office door. "Don't worry about your luggage will be in your dorm! Here's the key!"
The key was shoved into my hand and the office door was closed.
'But I don't want to do this'
