A/N This is my second one-shot on Fanfiction! Hope you enjoy!

"Hey Tony," Pepper chirped, walking into the armory. Her eyes flitted to the red-clad figure of her genius friend kneeling over the Iron Man armor. "Tony?"

"Don't bother," another voice said to Pepper's right, and Pepper's attention was directed to Rhodey, who was messing with a yoyo. "He's been at that for nine hours straight now. He won't even acknowledge I'm here. I don't think he's even noticed."

Pepper folded her arms and raised an eyebrow at Tony. "Looks like someone's in a serious need of a break," she murmured. She met eyes with Rhodey, and a plan formed between the two. Smirking, Pepper walked up to Tony. "Hey," Pepper repeated, glancing at the circuitries Tony was working on. Tony mumbled a quick hi. Pepper pretended to glance across he room and scream. Tony's head jerked up, his blue eyes seemingly huge behind his lab goggles.

"What? What is it?" he asked. Pepper pointed across the room, trying to act terrified.

"I saw a spider! Kill it, kill it, kill it!" Pepper screeched, jumping up and down. Tony groaned.

"Can't it wait? I'm kind of in the middle of something," Tony grumbled, his eyes falling on the armor.

"No, it can't! What if it bites me? It could be poisonous! And then I'll land up in the hospital, and it'd be all your fault because you wouldn't take the time to kill one stupid spider!" Tony sighed, then ripped his goggles off and threw them onto the table.

"Where's the spider?" he asked, and Pepper tried to keep from squealing excitedly.

"Over there!" she said, pointing across the room. As Tony began searching for the imaginary spider, Pepper winked at Rhodey, and they both walked up behind Tony.

"I don't see a spider," Tony shrugged. Pepper pointed at a patch of wall beside an open closet.

"It's over there! Get it, quick, before it gets away!"

Tony walked over to said spot, but he looked up at his friends in confusion. "I don't see-" then he noticed their smug expressions. "Uh, guys?"

"Charge!" Pepper shouted, and with a yell she and Rhodey rammed into Tony, pushing him into the closet. Then Rhodey slammed shut the door and locked it.

"Wha-why did you just-what is wrong with you?" Tony yelled, his eyes glancing around the darkness of the small closet, trying, and failing to see. "Let me out!" He ran his hands over the surface of the door, pushing against it, but it didn't give.

"Never!" he heard Pepper yell, then Pepper's girlish giggling and Rhodey's laughing. He sighed and rested his forehead against the closet door.

"You guys suck," he muttered, not really meaning it though.

"We'll let you out on one condition," Rhodey shouted through the door. "Take a break for a while and talk to your friends."

"Fine," Tony mumbled. The door opened, and he squinted his eyes at the harsh light of the armory. He stepped out of the closet, turned around-then pushed Rhodey into the closet with a yell. "Payback!"

"A-hem."

Tony turned and saw Pepper holding up one of his more complicated schematics, poised as though she were about to rip it. Tony eyes widened and he froze.

"Don't you dare."

"Let Rhodey out of the closet."

"Give me the schematic."

"Let Rhodey go first."

With no other choice, Tony slowly opened the closet door. Rhodey leapt out, yelling a battle cry, swiftly shoving a bucket over Tony's head. When Tony managed to get it off his head, bother Pepper and Rhodey, plus the schematic, were gone.

"That is so cheating!" Tony yelled, chasing after them. "You're gonna get it!"
