Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.

Lord Voldemort hated babies, he had done so ever since his days in the orphanage.

Which is why he couldn't fathom why he was still looking after six-month-old Alpha Lestrange.

Bellatrix had rolled up at his manor in a panic, spouting something about Rodolphus and Lucius being arrested, both Malfoy and Lestrange Manor being raided.

Then she plopped the screaming pooping machine into his arms and Disapparated. What in Merlin's name possessed his most faithful Death Eater to think he was a suitable choice in childcare, he didn't know.

Alpha cried every time he put her down and the crying upset Nagini, so he was literally left holding the baby and that baby had a dirty nappy.

"It smells," Nagini hissed irritably.

"Yes, well, there is not much I can do about it," Voldemort said, glaring at his beloved snake.

"How about changing it," Nagini suggested with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"If I knew how to change a nappy, I'd have done it already," Voldemort spat out as he tried to soothe a howling Alpha.

"You have house elves," Nagini said, wishing she was human so she could roll her eyes at the stupidity of men at times.

Voldemort threw a nasty look at Nagini as if to say, 'Why didn't you suggest that sooner?'.

"BLOSSOM," Voldemort hollered over the screaming baby.

Blossom arrived in the room with a pop, to be greeted with the image of the darkest wizard of all times struggling with a baby.

"How can Blossom help Master?" the elf asked, bowing in submission.

"Take the baby, change her, feed her, do whatever it takes to stop her crying," Voldemort said, trying to keep his tone neutral.

"Yes, Master," Blossom said, as Voldemort handed Alpha to her.

Voldemort sighed a sigh of relief when Blossom left the room with a screeching Alpha. He was so going to make Bellatrix suffer.
