Link's POV
A year has passed since I killed Ganondorf and freed Hyrule from peril. I figured out Zelda was a wolf to. She's a golden white she-wolf with a tail that looks like the devils and she has the most beautiful dark blue eyes. Zelda and I have started are own pack with 3 other wolves and it's going well. We live around the Faron Woods in an old cave and we have a lot of food and water. Zelda and I are very happy with our progress. Zelda came into the den with a black wolf with a tail that was Thorn, our best smeller. He looked sad and I was right. I got up and ran over to the wolves. "Is he hurt?" I asked while looking over Thorn for injures. "No" Zelda said with pain in her eyes, "I am" then Zelda lied on the floor and screamed in pain. "Zelda!" I said and looked at my friend (I did love her with all my heart) "Link" Thorn said, "Look at her chest and legs" he said. I did and Zelda had a huge scratch across her chest that spelled out YOUR NEXT in blood, and the cuts on her legs where X's. I started crying and lied down next to her and said with tears in my eyes, "Who did this to you?" she looked at me and shock her head and said "I don't know it was a wolf pack that we have never seen before but right now I need help." She said. I picked her up and 2 more wolves came in to the den, they where Star and Temple, I told them what had happened and then told them to go out and search for the wolves that did this to Zelda. They did as they where told and left. I put Zelda in the back of the den where I put bandages on her scratches and said "Zelda I'm so sorry I should of helped you in there. I'm such a dumb alpha male." I lied on the ground next to her and hid my face in the fur. "Link, you had no idea I was being attacked, and if you did I knew you would help defend your pack, I know you would." She said and tugged on my ears. "But what if you got killed in there, I don't know what I would of done without you Zelda." Said and looked into her eyes. "Oh Link" she said and licked me on the nose. If I where human, I would have been blushing so much. "Z- Zelda did you just," I couldn't go on, I was to shocked. "What? Never been kissed before?" she said and snickered at my face. Then she looked out the den entrance and frowned. "Link, I wonder if there safe." She said and looked at me with sad eyes and then I looked at her bandage around her chest and the blood was coming through. "Zel, I don't know if there safe, let's just hope they are out there, all only with only each other." I said and put my head on top of Zelda's to comfort her. She hid he nose with her tail. Then she tried to get up. "Zelda no, your to injured" I said and she fell to the ground in pain. "Zelda!" I screamed and I helped her up. "Link can you please promise me one thing," she said and looked at me. I nodded my head and she buried her face in my fur. "Please say that you will always be here to protect me, even if you die trying, please tell me you will always be here to comfort me." She said and fell asleep in my chest.
