Hermione was wandering, as she often did these days. She liked to be alone, particularly to practice magic, which was what she planned on doing this time. It was the beginning of the school year, and she felt she was a bit rusty after the first day of classes.

She finally reached the place she was looking for. She walked around a bit, thinking about practicing in privacy, as she was quite self conscious. Some thoughts of romance creeped in though. She walked in the door that appeared after 3 times of going in front of it, and shut the door behind her.

She picked up a book. A transfiguration one. She liked that class, so she started looking through it.

Little did she know, someone else was in the room.

"Back to being a smart ass already, eh Granger?" someone mocked.

Hermione whipped around. The person was hiding in the shadows. She drew her wand, not knowing what to expect, if and when the silhouette showed itself.

"Who is it?" she said, trying to sound brave.

"Who else would be stupid enough to let you know that they were here?" he said, walking out of the shadow.

"Draco!" Hermione sighed, relieved. "You had me scared for a second there. How was your summer?"

Draco approached the girl. "It was ok. Not the best though. Of course, you know I couldn't tell anyone about you. Sorry I di—"

Hermione put her finger over his lips. "You don't have to apologize. I didn't expect you to write. You had told me enough about your dad to make me expect that."

Malfoy moved closer, wanting her. Needing her. She didn't move away, so he kissed her.

Hermione passionately returned the kiss. She'd been waiting all summer for this, and she wasn't going to wait any longer. She was sure he felt the same way.

No one knew if it lasted seconds, or minutes, but they finally broke away.

"What about Weasel?" Draco asked, "Surely you two did something over the summer."

"No. Ron's not the one I love," Hermione whispered, "He never will be."

"I have to go," Draco said.

"You don't have to. We could stay here. No one would think of it. You start up a habit at the beginning of the year, people don't think it's strange." She argued, and sat down on one of the beds, pulling Draco down with her.

"Well, I suppose," Draco said, a smile on his face. He loved how stubborn, and forceful, she could be when she wanted something.

With that, they laid down. Hermione put her arms around Draco lovingly. Never wanting this to end, just wanting to stay here, always and forever.
