A letter from Lucy
If Lucy was alive this would be her reply letter to Virgil.
Dearest Virgil.
I am so glad to hear that your Father is doing so well since he lost me back then. I remenber Jo from living next door to us. she had such a hard time with her foster parents which worried you so your Father and I decided to foster Jo for six months, she is a wonderful girl so it does'nt surprise that one of you boys would end up marrying Jo.
I still can't believe that you are a Dad, it most have been a shock when you found out but a least Jo was honest with you. I bet that Robyn is a lovely little girl who has everyone wrapped around her little finger with all you men it keeps a little child to keep you busy. After all its not everyday that there is a Tracy girl in this family.
Anyway I am sure that your brothers are going to make great uncles. Scott would be great for reading stories because he was always read you and John at bed time. John would be good at showing Robyn the stars that sort of thing, Gordon could teach her to swim. We had a hard time trying to get Gordon out of the bath at times. Alan I don't really know that well since he was a baby when I had gone, but I think that Alan could maybe play with her.
Now I want you to pass a message onto your brothers and Father. Tell them how proud I am that IR was set up in my memory. I will always watch over my boys, no matter what happens.
sending all my love
Mom xxxxxxx
