Swords and Tangerines

It was an ice cold morning on the Grand Line, and Roronoa Zoro was staring at the tangerine grove on the Going Merry. The Love-cook was too busy with serving food all the time he forgot about Nami's tangerines. Now the vines were excruciatingly long. They also hadn't hit any islands for a while, and Zoro was itching to use his swords. "I guess this is the only thing to do." Zoro said, unsheathing his swords. "This will take a while."

By the time Zoro was done, the sun had risen, and everyone was wide awake. Nami came to care for the tangerines, and when she spotted Zoro and the tangerines in tip-top shape, she was only amazed. "Did you..?" She asked. Zoro slightly nodded his head.

"Yeah. So?" He asked. Nami slowly walked to him and gave him a gentle kiss.

"Thank you." She said before walking away. Zoro just stood there. All I wanted was some exercise. He thought. …But maybe I should do that more often. He remembered from that day onward that swords didn't just cut through skin and create blood.

They could also cut through vines and create new relationships.
