Marshall shook his head as Mary hung up the phone.

"God! Again!"

"Mare..."

Mary closed her eyes and shook her head. "Again with the dress. Marshall. They want me to help pick out a dress... like I even know the first thing about dresses."

Marshall gave her a patient look and nodded.

"I mean... can you imagine what I'd pick out? I don't even know where to start."

Marshall reached into his desk and pulled out the magazine he'd picked up before heading back to Albuquerque.

"And therein lies the real problem," he stated. "You are afraid of letting your sister down- of being... less... than perfect."

"Good God Marshall... she pulled the 'wanting me in the pictures' when she looks back card... I can't do this... I don't do formal..."

Marshall picked up the magazine and handed it to Mary.

"What! Not you too." She almost looked betrayed, until she noticed he'd marked a page.

Curious she opened the magazine to the page and looked at the dress. Plain... Elegant... something that would enhance her sister's beauty not distract from it.

"Marshall," she said half stunned.

"I know," he answered with a slight shrug, ready for what was going to come next.

"That's...perfect.. " She let her breath out and looked at him tilting her head, her demeanor changing from stunned to bedeviling. "You're like the daughter your mother never had..."

Marshall gave her a knowing smile. "You're welcome."
