Author's Note: This is an AU story I wrote many years ago and nver put up here. I may be inclined to continue if I get enough response.
Abby was talking to another new med student, Jamie, when she saw Dr.Carter pass by. He was busy with a trauma, yelling orders at a nurse and some intern who looked more scared than the patient.
" I heared he's a med student's worst nightmare." He said refering to the doctor.
" I heared he never eats, never sleeps, never goes home." Another student commented.
" Almost never." Abby muttered under her breath.
"What?"
" Nothing. Just saying he's kinda cute." She said a slight smile on her face.
" I think he's married." Jamie said.
" Whoever she is she must be one tough chick." a student said.
He emerged from a trauma room and walked towards the group carrying packets.
" Welcome to Cook County General. I'm Dr.Carter, chief resident. I want you to read this material and I'll come and find you when you're finished."
She almost laughed because he was staring at her.After almost everyone had went to chairs to read.He came up to her.
" Don't I know you from somewhere?" He said with a smile.
" Yeah. I believe I may have married you."
" Oh right that.I remember that."
" You better remember." She said wacking him. Jamie stood next to her his mouth open.
" Wait. The two of you. Married. So she's...and your...oh crap."
