An Angel and a Zord

Our story begins with you accepting the fact that there is a lone angel name Mira descending from the heavens and a group of three power rangers – Red, Blue, and Green – who have lost control of their Megazord and need help bringing it under control before the world is destroyed.

"I was just sitting alone up in the clouds watching everyone have fun without me…" Mira says, "But I guess someone needs me now."

"That's right," Red ranger speaks for the group, "Our Megazord has malfuntioned and identifies every human being as a monster needing to be erradicated. It's Green's fault for adding that cheap A.I. and Blue's fault for going swimming with the Megazord, but that's not what's important right now. What's important is that the Megazord has camouflaged itself as an ordinary citizen and we have used our tracker to reduce the number of suspects to only the people you find in our captive's quarters within our base."

Mira joins the rangers at their base when Green flips a switch that locks down every exit and begins to fill the room with gas. The rangers put on their helmets and their maniacal laughter echoes through the speakers lining the walls.

"You fool! Power rangers don't have captive's quarters! Why would we when all our enemies end up exploding into dust all the time. Now slowly go to sleep so you can wake up as our Pink Ranger. You will have an important duty to attend to as our cute little winged ranger!"

The gas begins to take hold of Mira's senses, but as she her consciousness fades, one image holds undwindling in her mind. Mira thinks of her childern and even as she falls asleep, Mira's wings launch her through the roof of the building and away into the city. In Mira's half-asleep state, her true power awakens!

In the city, Blue Ranger meets Mira alone.

"I'm sorry about my brothers, Mira, when I first saw you fluttering so lonely in the clouds I fell in love so deep and told you my Red and Green about my new infatuation, but they decided that it was only fair that we share you since you are the only angel. I would have saved you, Mira! I'm sorry I let their plans get this far! Please let me fight against them beside you as an apology for my cowardice…"

Blue is crying now, and through his teary eyes he fails to realize he's speaking to the half-dreaming Mira who will never remember his heart-felt confession. Mira cocks her head to one side and snorts a little.

"its ging tobe ok blu _ "

Blue sniffs up his sorrow and nods, "Yeah, let's make sure my brothers aren't allowed to cause anymore damage than they already have."

Blue Ranger pressed a button on his cuff and a powerful beam shines into the sky. Out of the aurora flies in a blue tiger, and the massive beast crushes a street corner as it slides in next to Blue. The tigerzord swipes up Blue and eats him, no doubt taking him to the cockpit.

Following the tigerzord is Red's eaglezord, a metal mechanical nightmare of dagger wings and scimitar talons. Blue prepares to meet his brother head on in the one on one battle they had always known would happen since they were babbies. Red versus Blue, it was always so simple, but their rivalry had always been more complicated than that, and it had hurt both of them. Blue begins to think that this battle will be fate's solution to their feud, and that through their metal conflict, their hearts my reach some understanding.

There's something neither Red nor Blue understood, however. You never threaten a half-asleep Mira from the sky. The sky is her territory. It is Mira's place of solitude and safety. It is her cloudy home and sunny backyard. Mira did not dare dodge the eaglezord, she would never fear any beast that dares try to steal her sky. As the tons of mechanical force tackled right at Mira's fragile form, her wings encased around her…

Blue watches as the eaglezord crumples limp and rolls loudly down the street, finally slowed by a mess of twisting, broken power lines. A hole pierces the zord's frame and smoke rises from its void. Blue looks back at where Mira once floated. She still floats there, unmoved, and an unfurling of her wings reveals the Red ranger unconscious and held by his collar. The fire burns out in Mira's eyes and she drops the defeated ranger into the craters of the ruined street.

Blue thought that he had known love, he thought that the infatuation he felt for the fragile, floating, and lonely winged girl of the clouds had been something true, but now he knew that his past feelings were only some immature musings. No, Blue thought, what I feel for Mira now is so much more than what I felt before… this must be true love. Blue tumbles out of his zord to meet the now slowly waking Mira now hovering just inches above the ground.

"Mira," Blue clears his throat. His mind is racing as he tries to find the perfect words for the perfect woman. Blue decides not come on to strong even though he knows he's found his soul mate. "Mira, I want to have your babies."

Perfect. Tenouttaten, would confess again.

Mira rubs her eyes and wonders why she's waking up to a strange confession again. This happens like every Thursday. Mira wonders if there is something on her face or a sign on her back pranking her.

"hai blu" she simply says. Then she realizes Blue is waiting for something more definitive of an answer. Mira meows then tries again. "i dunno… im sowwie i dont think im the gurl your looking for. im not that great o3o"

Blue is at loss for words and struggles to break through to his angel. He pulls Mira closer by the wing and kisses her strongly on the lips as he runs his hand along Mira's wing, drawing ever closer to her heart.

Then the grizzlyzord appears and drops a few nearby building on the couple…
