We spend so much time writing fanfics about the Cullens and The Pack, that we tend to forget the little people in the Twilight series...
And by little I mean,
Evil.
The Volturi feels neglected, un-loved, un-appreciated. Let's change that with a Volturi one-shot contest that consists of nine different catagorys.
These categories are...
- We here about these women called the 'wives', but who are they? Give us more in-sight on these royal women of the Volturi Kingdom.
- Ever wonder what it would be like to have a staring contest with Jane? But who would be dumb enough to take on the challenge?
- How did this black cape tradition get started? Who's the mastermind behind the Volturi wardrobe?
- Why did Marcus want a Saint Marcus day? What was going through his mind?
- The Volturi try animal blood? Why, this must be Carlisle's doing...
- What about that time when Carlisle was with the Volturi?
- How did Jane and Alec join the Volturi?
- How did the Aro, Marcus, and Caius meet their wives?
- How did the Volturi brothers decide who was in charge?
Rules:
(1) It must be a one-shot.
(2) Must be one of the topics above.
(3) Longer than 1,000 words, but shorter than 6,000. If you need to go a little bit over to close a sentence that's perfectly fine. But be will not accept anything lower that the minimum and anything majorly over the maximum.
(4) No Lemons. Must be rated T or below. Cuss words are fine. Sex scenes are not.
(5) All normal pairings. No All Humans, all vampires must stay vampires.
(6) Keep them in character. No OOC.
(7) Do not put yourself in the story. There is a competition for that if you wish to be directed to it.
(8) Must be in one of the Volturi member's point of view.
(9) No creating your own character. If it's just some human that's brought in to be eaten and you want to give him/her a name, then go right ahead. But you can't make up a character that stays in the story and has an effect on the plot.
(10) No switching point of views. Have one point if view throughout.
You may send in 3 entries from 3 different catagorys. You may not enter more, but you may enter less. And you can not enter more than one for the same category. It can be any genre.
Contest due date: July 30th, 2009 (Can be changed depending on how things go...)
