Dear Elsa,

I can only hope this letter makes it to you in Arendelle safely. My mother attached it to a bird hoping it would manage to do what we cannot and travel across realms to find you. I hope all is well in Arendelle and that when this letter finds you, it finds you in your palace, in your rightful place as queen of Arendelle. I hope Prince Hans has gotten what he deserves for trying to take your kingdom and for trying to kill your sister and Kristoff. Please, tell me that he's behind bars somewhere.

As for things in Storybrooke everything has been quiet since the night you guys left for your kingdom. Oh, and please tell your sister that I owe her one for her information about Rumplestiltskin. If it wasn't for her we would never have known what he was planning to do. He was trying to strip himself of his dagger, a dagger in which whoever holds it has the power to control him. He was planning to kill Killian by crushing his heart and something with a magical power sucking hat and the stars aligning that would make him all powerful. Belle managed to stop him before he could start the spell by finding the real dagger and ordering him to stop. Please extend my thanks to Anna because if it wasn't for her I would have lost Killian. I can't ever repay her enough for what she did. Should she ever need anything please tell her not to hesitate to ask, and I will do everything in my power to help her.

As for the rest of Storybrooke is concerned everything has been quiet or quieter, Grumpy still won't stop running down the street screaming about something every other day. The relative silence is a rarity that we are all taking care to enjoy. However, you should know that everyone around here is missing you terribly. My parents and Henry both wished for me to say hello to you, wishing you well, and Kristoff and Anna as well. My parents continue to express their hope that you'll get your kingdom back. They should know better than anyone the struggle to for a kingdom that rightfully belongs to them. They fought King George and The Evil Queen to take back the kingdom that once belonged to my mother and her family. They're well acquainted with the loss of kingdom and trying to regain it to protect their people. They succeeded just as I know that you will.

Personally, I only hope that you, Anna, and Kristoff are some place safe. But most importantly is that I hope that all of you are together. Being with the people you love most in the world is one of the most important things in it. Without it, ruling a kingdom just seems a lonely endeavor. Having power doesn't mean much if the people most important in the world to you aren't protected. So, please be safe with your family. I miss all of you very much and I wish I could be there to help you get your kingdom back.

I hope to hear from you soon after this message departs for Arendelle, if you would like to send a return message which I truly hope you will just attach it to the leg of this bird. The bird will remain with you until you tell it to return home. Not to mention if you and Anna still owe me an explanation about how you know Prince Hans, everything happened so quickly I never had a chance to hear the whole story. I, also, never had the chance to tell Anna the whole story behind my parents and I looking the same age. I would very much like to tell her the whole story if she would still like to hear it. I would hope she would like to hear the whole story from beginning to end since I heard she did have a hand in helping them get together. If it wasn't for her it may have taken my father forever for him to find the courage buried deep down inside of him. If it wasn't for that courage they may never have ended up together or have fought for each other with everything they have. I was informed that Anna was the first person to drag it out of him, we should all be grateful. There's a lot we should catch up on.

I know this letter is a bit short but just in case this letter doesn't actually find you it's pointless to write out a whole long drawn out letter if there's no one on the other end to read it. So, I hope this letter does manage to find it's way to you, although I probably shouldn't be too worried as this family always finds each other no matter what. Yes, by the way, I am counting all of you as my family, because you are. If you do find this letter I hope you respond swiftly, otherwise I may fear the worst.

Although, if something truly has happened to you and a lack of response prompts me to find my way to you to help with whatever you've been caught in it wouldn't be so bad. I would only hope I find you all in time. Anyway, once again I wish that three of you are safe and most importantly are together. Not to mention I also hope that Anna and Kristoff finally managed to get married, especially after accidentally waiting 30 years to tie the knot. I know how anxious poor Kristoff was to get on with the wedding. I'd be impatient too after being frozen for 30 years and nearly being killed without ever being married to the person I loved most in the world. Although, from what you've about him it sounds like he was impatient long before that. Offer them a congratulations from my family and I as well even if they haven't walked down the aisle together yet.

Be safe, Elsa.

Love,

Emma Swan

A.N. Well, there you go we have the first letter from Emma to Elsa. I was thinking about doing a letter from each episode going forward where Emma will fill Elsa in on the recent going ons in Storybrooke.

Just take a quick moment in the little box below to let me know what you think.

As always, thanks for reading! :)
